I have a question regarding the application. Why Skype, when Discord is growing rapidly every day, and, as memes have shown me, is better than Skype? Not that I'm against it, but I feel like I'm more comfortable with Discord than Skype. Or is it something to do with the gaming thing? Hm...

the application needs to be updated we don't use skype anymore, we use slack. It's a text based situation, not voice or discord would be an option :)

I've been a member for nearly nine years, I have considered being part of something larger than myself here.
I see some areas have more than one volunteer, even some having three. Anthro appears to have no openings but has just one volunteer. I think a category as massive and broad as Anthropomorphism would most definitely benefit having more people helping out in it, working together. It's such a large art style, everything from realism, cartoony, comics, portraits, anthro fan art, animation, adoptables, colorables, references. It's nearly as broad as Digital art as a whole.
Anthropomorphic art is one of my favorites, a real favorite of mine. Something I have viewed and enjoyed drawing since I was a young child. :)

Would an opening for that be possible?
I like to think my language, spell checking, and vocabulary is great and rich. I have been a moderator and administrator for multiple other forums and chat channels, and have a lot of free time on my hands. I like to organize things, make things pretty with code and such.
Lol, I'm rambling.
Anyway, I digress. Thank you for taking the time to hear me out.

I would happily volunteer in just about any category really. I see artistic nude photography is open as well. That would need a mature, body positive, and open minded person giving it time and affection. Something I think I could do well.

It wouldn't hurt to send in an application though. It will be on file for a year, I think. Or maybe two years. I am not sure. :crying:

Thank your reply.
Yes, I think I will apply. It couldn't hurt.
This groups seems to have very little activity, and this journal is ancient. But the members within it seem to still be lively enough. :XD:

I would like to be a part of the devART Team

I have a question: english is not my mother language

is that a problem? My english is not really the best

If is that a problem, is it possible that I could only be there for DDs in the Category Vector Art ??

please give me an answer, ok?

thanks very much

'Ello!

I think it doesn't have to be your mother language. Or every past/present/future volunteers would only be from English speaking countries only. :P
Also, it doesn't have to be the best. As long as communication is possible.

You can apply for particular positions and categories. Try clicking the 'Apply Now' link and see what they want in the applications. And like it shows, some are for particular categories they volunteer.

Hello, just wondering. If our skills are one that is not in the current open CV positions. So, that means can we still be a volunteer?

I guess you can still submit an application for any of the positions there overall. Those open positions are for what they are looking for currently. It still depends on Moonbeam13 and the application is in records for a year. They aren't going to bite if you submit an application for a position that's not in the open position. :meow:

I have a question. If you applied at the age of 17 and you turn 18 during the processing of applicants, is that acceptable? Just curious... :o

EDIT: There's a section of the form that says "Are you 18 or older?" But still... 🤔

That won't count. You've to apply again once you are 18 or older.

Um , I applied earlier. I was wondering if just because I put I preferred to work in the forums that meant that's the only role I'd be accepted into? I'm willing to do anything that is needed.

I hope this doesn't sound rude, but since there are less DDs everyday (today there were only 5!) and photography DDs became really rare, I have a question for the general photography CVs (Mrs-Durden, TanyaSimoneSimpson, tiganusi ) I'm just curious Sweating a little...  Are you so strict and reject so many DD suggestions, or don't you get enough suggestions? :)

I feature a Daily Deviation every other day and have done that for the last few months. Before that, I was featuring every day but it was difficult to to find enough recent submissions from regularly and currently active deviants with all-round awesome galleries to keep that up. Once every other day is more manageable. It's not about not getting enough suggestions or rejecting suggestions - I browse all the galleries I look after and actively seek out photography to feature. I don't rely on suggestions, although it's always wonderful to receive them. We have much more to consider than just whether a particular photo is of DD standard, so it's not a case of simply finding good photos to feature (this is based on guidelines that we're given as CVs, not rules that we make up or factors that we control). That said, I think every other day is fine and it's more than many CVs feature, so I'm going to stick with that :)

tiganusi and Mrs-Durden may give very different answers so I can only speak for myself here. We're also not the only CVs featuring from photography galleries. There are lots of galleries that aren't included under the General Photography umbrella, so it may be worth directing the same question to the other photography CVs too, although please bear in mind that there are no rules, guidelines or requirements relating to how many DDs we should feature. Everyone approaches this differently.

Colours in heaven... by touchofthesoul
it is  a magnificent from the perspective of color, composition, how she has been able to not only keep the piece in a constant flow but not get lost in too much detail or focus. everything is in great balance and all the elements compliment each other so well. and the lovely background only adds to that, it dosn't take away anything nor dose it just stay there plane and simple.

she has managed to keep a great balance not to stray away from the original concept and the brush strokes and placement of dabbs are so well done. This is clearly an artist of not just great talent but amazing skill and great sense of mastery of her skills.

This should be given a DD, A pure display of how art can be amazing, lovely, thought provoking, soothing, lighten up the spirt and on and on.

I would love to see her not only get a DD but people need this kind of art in their lives.
please do help me by giving her a DD, i am no one and have done nothing but atleast there is someone who is sharing their true gift and that is something we all can see.
Thank you, please help me out

I don't think they'll respond, since they can be really busy and won't have time to reply to notes (unless important).

If it's been a month, you can wait until a Traditional Art CV shows up, since you've already sent to her and you can't send the same suggestion to the same person.

I have a question. The categories without a CV, is it because nobody is applying or is right for the job, of it is applications are not processed?

Because, it's sad that some categories like "Traditional art" are without a CV! :( (Not that I want to apply right now, but I'm intrigued)

Hello

I have the same doubts as you because Traditional Art is one of my favorite galleries (along with Fan Art) and it is sad to see that there is no CV, at least just ONE ... it is strange, it has not been accepted for a long time a new CV for this category that really needs it. I would love to apply to be a CV in the same but at this moment I do not think I have what it takes for it. I just hope someone appears that if it can be a great CV :)
